Approach and anchoring
Access via the Marne from the Seine confluence at Charenton, navigation regulated by VNF. Several locks on the way upriver. Anchoring subject to VNF rules: clear of the navigation channel and signage.
Practical
River anchorage with no services. Poincy Port de Plaisance is 2,6 NM NE with water and electricity. Jablines nautical centre is 6,5 NM W.
Ashore
Riverbanks lined with the GR 14A towpath for walking and cycling. Meaux, 10 km NE of Poincy, has the Saint-Etienne cathedral begun in the 12th century and the Musee de la Grande Guerre.
