Approach and anchoring
Approach from the NE through the Baie de Saint-Tropez, with no off-lying dangers. Sand and weed bottom; drop on sand patches clear of the posidonia meadows. Shelter from SW through SE; exposed to the NE mistral and E winds which build a heavy chop in the bay.
Practical
Saint-Tropez harbour is 0.7 NM NE for berths and full services. Port du Pilon at Sainte-Maxime side of the bay lies 0.4 NM E for fuel and water.
Ashore
Plage de la Bouillabaisse has beach restaurants and is linked to Saint-Tropez town centre by the waterfront walk, about 20 minutes on foot to Place des Lices and the old port. Bus line 7601 from the RDTV network runs along the D98A to Sainte-Maxime and the ferry landings.
