Family-run marina on Julington Creek, a tributary of the St Johns River, in the Mandarin area of southern Jacksonville, Florida.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached from the St Johns River by turning into Julington Creek, off San Jose Boulevard. The creek is sheltered from open-river chop, which gives the basin good protection in a blow. No tidal lock; depths are shallow in places, so a cautious approach is advised for deeper draught vessels.
Practical
Over 70 wet berths on Pier 3, let on a first-come basis. Fresh water and shore power at each berth. Dry storage is also offered subject to availability. The marina is privately owned and open to the public.
Ashore
Julington Creek Fish Camp restaurant sits on the marina itself, on Pier 3. Provisioning and shops are along San Jose Boulevard within a short drive.
