Approach and anchoring

Enter the St Johns River and head south past Green Cove Springs, then turn west into Black Creek. The creek is well sheltered from open river chop. Watch for floating debris after high water.

Practical

114 berths on wet pontoons up to 50 ft, with a few spaces for vessels to around 70 ft. Shore power, fresh water, fuel and pump-out on site. Boat ramp, trailer storage and clean facilities. 24-hour access for renters.

Ashore

Spring Park in Green Cove Springs at 4 nm downriver, with a natural sulphur spring pool open to the public. Local bass, bream and catfish fishing on Black Creek itself.
