Approach and anchoring
Approach from Chesapeake Bay through the Great Wicomico River entrance, then into Towles Creek. Well sheltered from open Bay swell, considered a hurricane hole by local boaters. Marked channel into the creek.
Practical
Five transient berths plus covered and open slips. Fuel berth with diesel and petrol, pump-out, deep artesian fresh water, showers and washer/dryer. Ship store, dinghy dock, fishing charters and kayak hire on site. Pet friendly.
Ashore
Rural setting on the Northern Neck; nearest village shops in Reedville about 2.5 NM by water. Reedville Fishermen's Museum documents the local menhaden fleet history.
