Family-run marina of 65 berths on Cockrells Creek at Reedville, off the western shore of Chesapeake Bay in Virginia.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
About five minutes inside Cockrells Creek from the open bay. Approach and dockside depths run roughly 8.0 and 6.0 metres at the pontoons. Fixed and floating berths, with space for vessels up to 75 ft.
Practical
Four transient berths. Fresh water, WiFi, ice, pump-out, heads and showers on site. Fuel berth, dry storage and boat repair available. Family-owned and run since 1972.
Ashore
The marina is the base for Tangier Island Cruises, with daily passenger sailings out to Tangier Island. The fishing village of Reedville lies a short way up the creek, with its menhaden heritage and the Reedville Fishermen's Museum.
