Approach and anchoring
Enter the golfe through the narrow passe between Port-Navalo and Locmariaquer, then head east past Île aux Moines. Strong tidal streams up to 8 knots on springs inside the golfe. Approach Saint-Armel at slack water if possible. Muddy shoals dry around the island at low water.
Practical
Water tap on the Saint-Armel slipway. No fuel, no electricity on site. Village shop and bakery at Le Hézo, about 1 km from the landing. Nearest full services at Sene or the Chantier Caudard boatyard, both 2 to 3 nm to the NW.
Ashore
Passage on foot at low water to the Île de Saint-Armel across the Passage du Petit Mont. Coastal path GR 34 runs along the Rhuys peninsula through Le Hézo oyster beds. Cairn of Petit Mont, a Neolithic monument, at 4 km by road above Arzon.
