Approach and anchoring
Approach with tide tables in hand. Strong tidal streams run through the Chenal du Four, up to 4 knots at springs. Drop sand hook on the east side in settled weather. Shelter from NE to SE only. Watch the Grande Vinotière cardinal to the north and the Saint-Paul rocks to the south.
Practical
No facilities ashore. Day stop only. Le Conquet lies 4.5 nm east for water, fuel and shops. L'Aber Ildut 7.8 nm NE as an alternative harbour.
