Approach and anchoring
Mixed bottom of rock, weed and mud, holding is uneven and a trip line is sensible. Shelter from the N half and from the E. Currents run hard through the Gulf at the change of tide, up to 8 knots in the Coureau des Courreaux near the mouth. Séné lies 1.8 NM to the NW.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services. Fuel and yards at Séné and at Chantier Caudard 2.6 NM to the NW.
Ashore
The Gulf of Morbihan is a Natura 2000 site and a regional natural park. The Séné bird reserve on the northern shore protects nesting avocets and black-winged stilts, with a visitor centre at Brouel-Kerbihan.
