Approach and anchoring
Reached from the North Channel of Jamaica Bay and up Shellbank Basin. The basin entrance shoals and a 4 ft obstruction is charted, so deeper-draught boats should time the tide. Member berths only.
Practical
Member club affiliated with the Inter-Yacht Club Association, with a function room at the clubhouse. The club runs boating courses and fishing seminars for the local community. Shops along Cross Bay Boulevard within walking distance.
