Approach and anchoring

Approached from Jamaica Bay through marked channels carrying about 10 feet at low water, the bay itself entered from the Atlantic by Rockaway Inlet. The marina lies behind the barrier beach near Beach 59th Street, sheltered from open-water swell.

Berths, slips and moorings for hire. Limited public information on fuel and other services, so contact the marina ahead. Mainly a base for local boats and bay fishing rather than a transient stop.
