Approach and anchoring
Reached from Biscayne Bay through shallow flats; keep to charted channels and watch the draught at low water. The ramp has ten concrete launch lanes and accommodates vessels up to 50 feet. The marina is the main mainland gateway into Biscayne National Park.
Practical
Trailer parking, a tackle shop, petrol and diesel, and outdoor showers. The launch ramp is open year-round. The Dante Fascell Visitor Center sits at Convoy Point with a hand-launch ramp for kayaks and canoes.
Ashore
Convoy Point Jetty Walk runs along the shoreline through bayside hardwood hammock from the marina. The visitor centre exhibits cover the park's reefs and mangroves. Black Point Park and Marina lies 4.6 nm north.
