Approach and anchoring
Approach by the canal at low speed. The halt is a short quay in the village, on a pound between Belleville and Beaulieu locks. No VHF service on this section.
Practical
A few berths along the quay, water point seasonal, no fuel on site. Bakery, small grocery and a couple of restaurants in Léré within walking distance. Nearest fuller services at Beaulieu-sur-Loire, 4.6 NM to the north-west.
Ashore
Collégiale Saint-Martin in the village, a Romanesque church with 12th-century crypt, listed monument historique. The Loire towpath runs along the canal and joins the Loire à Vélo cycle route to the river bank.
