Approach and anchoring
The marina lies on the river above the harbour. Tidal streams in the Piscataqua run hard, so plan an arrival near slack water. Harbour office on VHF 68.
Practical
Founded in 1956. There are 128 deep-water berths and 72 moorings, transient dockage at 3 dollars per foot, a Valvtect fuel dock with petrol and diesel, and a paved launch ramp with a 120-foot loading dock. The yard runs a 35-ton travel lift and a 35-ton hydraulic trailer, with a bath house, showers, self-service laundry, a chandlery and a full repair shop.
