Entry from the estuary channel at rising tide only. Fast tidal streams in the Gironde, plan arrival at slack water or with the flood. Mud bottom, good holding once set. Shelter from NE and E winds from the bank.

Shore power available at the pontoon. Port des Callonges lies 2.8 nm to the south and La Maréchale 2.9 nm to the SW as alternative stops.
