Approach and anchoring
Entry through a narrow channel cut into the marsh, signposted from the estuary. Tidal port, enter near high water. Maximum draught 1.5 metres. Strong estuary currents outside the channel.
Practical
About 5 berths, mostly occupied by local boats. No fuel or chandlery on site. Nearest usable harbours are La Marechal 3.7 nm NW and Pauillac 5.5 nm S on the Medoc bank.
