Members' boat club founded in 1948 at Pear Tree Point in Darien, Connecticut, on Long Island Sound.

Approach and anchoring
Sheltered anchorage at Pear Tree Point, well placed for day runs to the Norwalk Islands, the Five Mile River, Norwalk Harbour and Stamford Harbour, with the north shore of Long Island about seven miles to the south.
Practical
The club holds slips for around 250 boats from dinghies up to 28 feet, power and sail. There is a launch service, a gas dock, fresh water on all docks, racks for inflatables, kayaks and small craft, lockers for gear and bagged ice for sale. Berthing is open to permanent Darien residents only.
