Approach and anchoring

Reached from Long Island Sound through the dredged Stamford Harbour channel, which runs north between two breakwaters. The marina sits on the East Branch behind the hurricane barrier; boats pass the gated 90-foot opening, normally held open in fair weather. Hail the harbour master on VHF channel 9.

Practical

Berths carry shore power, fresh water and cable. On site there is a fuel berth, a ship's store, laundry, a pump-out station and a clubhouse with showers and a lounge. The dock is lit and watched around the clock. Downtown Stamford is close by.

Ashore

Kosciuszko Park, with waterfront paths along the East Branch, adjoins the marina. Downtown Stamford, with shops, restaurants and the Metro-North station for New York trains, is about 1.5 miles inland.
