Approach and anchoring

Enter from the Golfe de Fos through the Canal de Caronte, a buoyed channel used by commercial shipping to the Étang de Berre. Listen on VHF 12 for port traffic from Fos and keep clear of tankers. The club pontoons sit on the north bank near the town centre.

Practical

Members pontoons with limited visitor space, water and shore power at the berths. Town centre shops, chandlery and fuel available at nearby Port de Ferrières 0.6 NM to the northwest.

Ashore

Quartier de l'Île and the Miroir aux Oiseaux painted by Ziem are 400 m from the pontoons. Musée Ziem on boulevard du 14 Juillet is 600 m away. Market on Thursday and Sunday morning at cours du 4 Septembre.
