Approach and anchoring
St Patrick's Creek opens off the Potomac just north of Coltons Point and St Clement's Island. Sheltered water inside the creek.
Practical
Of the 70 berths, 11 are covered. A 30-ton lift handles haul-out and storage for power boats and sailing yachts. Boatyard, ships store and bath house on site. The yard is a Yamaha outboard dealer and services Mercury, MerCruiser and Volvo Penta engines. Contact 301 769-3335.
Ashore
The St Clement's Island Museum stands less than a mile from the marina. St Clement's Island, in the Potomac off Coltons Point, marks the 1634 landing of Maryland's first English settlers and carries a 40 foot memorial cross.
