Small sand cove on the south coast of Corsica, in the gulf of Valinco, south-west of Propriano.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, keeping clear of the rocky points either side of the cove. Anchor on sand in 3 to 6 metres. Shelter from N, NE and NW quadrants only. Exposed to the libeccio from the SW, which blows hard into the gulf of Valinco and makes the cove untenable.
Practical
Forain anchorage, no services. Nearest harbour is Porto Pollo 5.9 NM east with water, fuel and provisioning. Port Tino Rossi in Ajaccio lies 11.1 NM north for full marina services.
