Approach and anchoring
Approach from the north within the golfe d'Ajaccio, keeping offshore from the cliffs of the sud Ajaccio coast. Rock bottom, find a sand patch between the rocks for holding or use a dedicated mooring if one is laid. Swim check essential before leaving the boat.
Practical
Shelter from S and SE only. Exposed to the prevailing W and NW that funnel into the gulf. Holding on rock is unreliable, do not stay if the wind backs. Porto Pollo 5.1 NM SE and Port Tino Rossi in Ajaccio 9.8 NM N for refuge and services.
