Approach and anchoring
The field is open to the south-west and west, the prevailing weather across the lake. The Community Boathouse manages the moorings and works VHF 74. The mooring season runs from mid-May to mid-October. Ferry Dock Marina lies 0.2 nautical miles to the north-east and Burlington Harbor Marina 0.6 miles to the north.
Practical
Fresh water is available on the waterfront. Reservations for the Boathouse moorings are taken in season by telephone on 802 865 3377 or through Dockwa.
Ashore
Burlington's city centre rises directly behind the waterfront, with shops and restaurants on Church Street within walking distance. The lakeside path and parks run along the shore, and the ECHO science centre stands on the waterfront beside the Boathouse.
