Approach and anchoring
Approach requires care among the rocks and drying heads that mark this stretch of coast. Enter by the buoyed channel of Pontusval between the rocks of Ar Neudenn and Lizen Ven, best at half-tide rising in daylight. Six buoys on sand, open to the north. No approach at night or in onshore swell.

Water available at the small harbour of Pontusval ashore. Plouescat at 4.3 NM to the east and the Club Nautique de Plouguerneau at 7.7 NM to the west for alternatives.

Coastal path on the Sentier des Douaniers GR 34 running along the shore past the pink granite chaos and the oratory of Pontusval. Menhir of Men Marz at 1 km, one of the tallest standing stones in Brittany at 8.5 metres. Shops and bakeries in Brignogan-Plages village 500 metres from the landing.
