Approach and anchoring
Approach from the E staying clear of the rocks off Cap Camarat lighthouse to the N. Bottom of sand with rock patches; drop on sand and check the anchor holds. Good shelter from NW through S winds; open to E and NE.
Practical
No services in the bay. Saint-Tropez lies 4.1 NM N and Port du Pilon 4 NM NW for berths, fuel and provisions.
Ashore
Long sandy beach with a couple of seasonal beach restaurants. Cap Camarat lighthouse, built in 1831 and standing 130 m above sea level, is reached by a coastal path from the north end of the beach. The sentier du littoral continues south toward Plage de l'Escalet and Cap Taillat, part of the Conservatoire du Littoral protected coastline.
