Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south on a clear bearing. Sandy bottom with good holding, Posidonia patches to avoid. Shelter from NW through N and NE, and also from W and SW under the headland. Exposed to easterly and southerly swell; leave on forecast of east wind.

Practical

No services on site. Port de Cavalaire lies 4.8 nm west with visitor berths, fuel and full marina services. Port du Pilon at Saint-Tropez is 5 nm north.

Ashore

Tender landing on the pebble and sand beach of Bon-Porte. The Domaine de Cap-Nègre and the Corniche des Maures road run behind the shore. Sentier du littoral follows the coast east towards Cap Nègre and west towards Cavalaire.
