Marina on Bohicket Creek between Kiawah and Seabrook Islands, South Carolina, with 200 wet berths and 90 dry storage spaces.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
From the Intracoastal Waterway, turn at day mark 110 into the North Edisto River, run about 3 miles to the range markers, then turn to port into Bohicket Creek and follow the day marks roughly 2.5 miles to the marina. Shoals extend up to 3 miles off the North Edisto entrance and the bar shifts. The creek runs a strong tidal current, so time the approach. Berths take vessels up to 130 ft, with up to 14 ft at low water.
Practical
Fuel berth with marine diesel and ethanol-free 89 octane petrol, high-speed delivery and a pump-out. Showers, laundry and a stocked ship store with bait and basic supplies. Boat rental available.
Ashore
Two restaurants are on site. Freshfields Village, with further shops and restaurants, lies within half a mile and is reachable on foot or by bicycle along walking and cycling paths.
