Approach and anchoring
The ramp opens onto the Folly River, which runs to the Atlantic. It is about 30 ft wide with four launch lanes and two floating courtesy docks. Tie-up is limited to 15 minutes.
Practical
Free parking with 57 paved trailer spaces and accessible bays. A small shelter stands by the ramp, plus a dedicated paddle-sports launch. No fuel or berthing on site.
Ashore
Folly Beach town centre, with shops and restaurants, is a short distance from the landing. The Atlantic surf beach lies on the ocean side of the island.
