Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, no off-lying dangers. Drop the hook on the sandy patches between the rocky outcrops, typically in 4 to 8 m. Holding is good on sand, poor on the rocky ledges.
Practical
Shelter from NE, E and SE winds. Open to the west and to the mistral, which accelerates along the coast between Bandol and La Ciotat. Port de la Gorguette is 0.4 NM N, Bandol 1.1 NM NW for fuel, water and full services.
Ashore
Sentier du littoral between Bandol and Sanary passes above the bay. Plage de la Gorguette to the north with beach bars in season. Bandol village, AOC wine cellars and weekly market 1 NM NW.
