Approach and anchoring

Anchoring is banned inside the cove during the summer bathing season under the municipal by-law of Bandol, with a 300 m swim zone enforced from 1 June to 30 September. Sand bottom, protection from N, NE and E. Exposed to SW swell from the open sea.

Practical

Port de Bandol at 0,3 NM E with 1600 berths and all services. Port Athena at 0,8 NM W. Beach restaurants and shops of Bandol village at 500 m over the headland footpath.

Ashore

Rénécros beach is a 300 m crescent of fine sand, accessible by footpath from Bandol centre. Île de Bendor at 0,4 NM offshore, reachable by shuttle every 30 minutes, with the Paul Ricard art museum and the wine and spirits exhibition.
