Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, keeping clear of the rocks along the cape. Sheltered from N, NE, W and NW winds, exposed to the south and southeast. Bottom of sand with patches of posidonia seagrass, so look for a clear sandy spot before dropping the hook to avoid damaging the meadows.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no facilities. Port des Oursinières lies 1.6 NM to the southeast for fuel, water and provisions. Saint-Louis du Mourillon is 2.5 NM to the west.
Ashore
The cove sits within the Corniche du Pradet coastal path, which runs along the cliffs between Les Oursinières and La Garonne beach. Landing by dinghy gives access to the path and to the hamlet of Le Pradet within walking distance.
