Approach and anchoring
Up the Odet from the Bénodet entrance, roughly 4 NM inland. Sand and mud bottom, holding rated good. Shelter from all wind directions thanks to the wooded banks of the estuary; watch the tidal current which runs up to 2 knots on spring tides.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port du Corniguel 1.8 NM north, the commercial and yachting quay of Quimper, with a slipway and limited visitor pontoon. Pors Keraign 2.7 NM SW for a fallback downstream.
Ashore
Chapelle Saint-Cadou from the 16th century stands 300 m back from the cove, key available at the nearby farm. Sentier of the Odet banks follows the river north toward Quimper, 7 km on foot or by shuttle boat Vedettes de l'Odet in season.
