Approach and anchoring
Enter the Odet from the S between the Pointe de Mousterlin and the Pointe de Lechiagat, then follow the main channel up to the bend off Sainte-Marine. Tidal streams run strong on springs, ebb up to 3 knots. Mud bottom, good holding. Sheltered from N, W and SW, open to the SE with the flood.
Practical
No facilities on the bank. Pontoon of Sainte-Marine 0,6 NM to the N with water, fuel and a capitainerie. Bénodet marina 1,5 NM SE across the river, all services.
Ashore
Footbridge of the Pont de Cornouaille overhead, built in 1972, 610 m span. Coastal path of the GR 34 runs along the Combrit shore to the Pointe de Combrit lighthouse in 2 km. Village of Sainte-Marine with shops and the small chapel of 1702 at 0,8 km.
