Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south. Rock bottom only, poor holding, use of a rock hook or buoy on nearby mooring field recommended over direct anchoring. Shelter from N, NE, E and SE; exposed to the mistral from NW and to the south swell.
Practical
Mouillage forain on rock, no services, no landing pontoon. Closest ports: La Madrague de Saint-Cyr at 0.9 NM N, small harbour with a few visitor berths, and Nouveau Port des Lecques at 1.7 NM N with full facilities.
Ashore
The sentier du littoral runs along the shore, linking the Calanque du Port d'Alon to the west and the beach of Les Lecques to the north-east. The Roman villa of Tauroentum, a small archaeological museum on the shore, is 1 km N from La Madrague.
