Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south along the coast of the Sartenais. Protected from N, NE, E and NW. Exposed to the libeccio from the SW, which can build quickly. Keep clear of the rocky heads either side of the cove.
Practical
Pianottoli-Caldarello harbour is 1,9 milles to the NW, with visitor berths and basic services. Port de commerce de Bonifacio is 4,6 milles to the SE. No facilities in the cove itself.
Ashore
The cove opens onto the granite coastline of the Sartenais, within the Natura 2000 zone of the southern Corsican coast. Undeveloped hinterland of maquis and granite chaos.
