Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east, keeping clear of the rocky foreshore along the cap. Bottom is rock and Posidonia seagrass, for which anchoring is restricted on the French Mediterranean coast; use a sand patch or a seasonal buoy if available. Protection from NW, N and NE; open to the S and easterly ground swell.
Practical
Forain mooring with no facilities. Saint-Louis du Mourillon lies 1,9 NM W and Toulon Darse Nord 2,1 NM W for fuel, water and full services.
Ashore
Sentier du littoral passes directly above the cove and links west to the plage de Magaud and the Fort du Cap Brun, a Vauban-era coastal battery 600 m west. The Mourillon beaches are reachable on foot in about 25 minutes.
