Approach and anchoring
The bay opens to the south. Shelter from NW, N, NE, W, E and SW, exposed mainly to southerly swell. Anchoring is banned by local regulation, so use the cove only for bathing stops with the dinghy from a nearby port.
Practical
No anchoring allowed. Refuge at Carro 0.8 NM west, and at Port des Laurons 2.1 NM north-west.
Ashore
The Côte Bleue coastal footpath, the sentier du littoral, passes above the cove and links La Couronne to Carro and Sausset-les-Pins. The shoreline is part of the Parc Marin de la Côte Bleue, a marine protected area created in 1983.
