Guide

Approach and anchoring

Approach from the south along the Côte Bleue. Rock bottom, holding variable, pick a sand patch if you can find one. Shelter from N, NE and E. Full exposure to the mistral from W to NW, clear out early if it is forecast.

Practical

No facilities on site. Carro, 0.7 nm SE, has a small fishing harbour, water on the quay and a handful of shops. Port des Laurons is 1.1 nm N.

Ashore

The Sentier du Littoral runs along the coast between Carro and La Couronne, about 4 km of marked path on limestone cliffs. Carro fish market takes place daily on the quay when the boats come in.
