Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south along the rocky coastline of the Côte Bleue. Bottom is sand and rock in 4 to 8 metres, look for sand patches and avoid dropping on rock. Sheltered from N to NW, exposed to the south. The mistral accelerates along this coast from the NW.
Practical
No services. Carro harbour 1 NM west for small-boat shelter and fishing quay. Sausset-les-Pins 2 NM east for a marina with water, fuel and provisioning.
Ashore
The Côte Bleue marine park covers this stretch of coast, a protected area established in 1983 with no-take zones off Carry-le-Rouet and Cap Couronne. Coastal path runs along the limestone cliffs above the anchorage.
