Approach and anchoring
Approach from the bay of Quiberon, rounding the Pointe du Bill to the west or the Pointe du Monteno to the east. The entrance to the Golfe du Morbihan lies immediately NE, with strong tidal streams at Port-Navalo, up to 6 knots at springs. Keep clear of the main gulf channel traffic.
Practical
Anchor on sand in 2 to 4 metres at low water, watch for patches of weed that degrade holding. Water tap listed ashore. The anse is open on most sectors, shelter is limited. In fresh weather fall back to Port du Crouesty, 0.9 nm S, or Kerners-Bilouris, 0.9 nm E.
Ashore
Landing by tender on the beach of Kerjouanno. The coastal sentier des douaniers GR 34 runs along the shore and leads west to Port du Crouesty marina in about 20 minutes on foot, and east to Port-Navalo in about 30 minutes. Shops and restaurants at Le Crouesty.
