Approach and anchoring

Reached from Delaware Bay through Roosevelt Inlet and the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal. The canal is tidal with a range near 4 feet, and currents run strongly close to the inlet at peak ebb and flood.

Practical

The marina is home to Anglers Fishing Center, which runs head boat and charter trips for bottom fish and inshore shark, and to Lewes Harbour Marina, a fishing and boating outfitter with chandlery and provisions.

Ashore

Lewes town centre with shops and restaurants is within walking distance. Cape Henlopen State Park, with beaches and the Fort Miles military site, lies about 2 miles east of the marina.
