Approach and anchoring

Indian River Bay is a shallow coastal bay reached from the Atlantic through Indian River Inlet, about 2 miles east. Most of the bay is thin water, so plan the approach for a shallow draught.

Practical

Berths for up to 107 boats, with a launch ramp, a ship store selling provisions, and an adjoining RV park with 41 sites. There is a picnic area, playground and volleyball court.

Ashore

Indian River Bay holds striped bass, flounder and bluefish, and is fished from boats based at the marina. The bay is bordered by salt marsh, and the inlet beaches lie within a short run by water.
