Approach and anchoring
Sand at 5 to 12 m with plenty of room, and water clear enough to see the anchor. An anchor dragged once in 2024. There is no shelter from the south, and a southerly swell of 0.2 to 0.3 m ran in during July 2024. Bordighera harbour is close by if the weather turns.
Practical
No shops within walking distance in 2024. The nearby beaches are private and dinghies cannot land there. A dinghy can be left at a nearby marina to reach the town, its restaurants and bars, though the anchorage is then out of sight. In 2024 a Conad supermarket delivered at 7 pm for a fee of 3.50 euros. A railway runs in front of the anchorage. Trains leaving the tunnel can wake crews in the morning.
