Approach and anchoring

VHF 16 went unanswered in July 2026, and the office was reached by phone. In June 2026 the office was staffed in the morning only and closed at 13:30, so late arrivals berth alone. Berths booked online are marked with a sign bearing the boat's name. Transit berths are on the breakwater, stern-to on lazy lines, and few in number. A keel fouled a ground chain on leaving in July 2026, even after the lines had sunk. The outer pontoon is exposed to waves.

Practical

The harbour is municipal. Booking and payment are done online, with the berth given in advance. Toilets are clean and open with a badge, but there were no showers in 2025. A beach shower stands in the bathing bay behind the pier. A laundromat on Via Vittorio Emanuele, 10 minutes' walk, took cash at 8 euros a machine in 2026. Shops are some distance from the harbour. The harbour bar stands by the office.

Ashore

On Friday evenings fishermen fry shrimp and anchovies on a fishing boat in the harbour, 10 euros a portion in 2024. Two ittiturismo serve seafood on the quay in the evening. The upper old town faces the harbour, and a seafront promenade lined with restaurants leads to the shops. Visits to Charles Garnier's house ran from 9:30 to 11:00 and 14:30 to 17:30 in June 2026.
