Guide
Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the north. Anchor on sand in 3 to 8 metres north and east of the marina breakwater, holding good. The breakwater shelters the bay from the south and south-west, but it is open and rolly with wind or swell from the north round to the east, and can be untenable overnight.
Practical
Water available ashore at Port Eugène Ceccaldi, 0.2 NM to the west, with fuel, electricity and shops within the marina complex. Calvi 4 NM to the south-west.
Ashore
Plage de Sant'Ambrogio, sand beach of about 400 metres directly behind the anchorage. Around the marina are a supermarket, butcher, bakery, fresh fish and a chandlery, with restaurants in the resort. Train station of the CFC metric-gauge line at Sant'Ambrogio, linking Calvi, Île-Rousse and Ponte-Leccia.
