Approach and anchoring

Anchor on hard sand in 2.4 to 5 m, keeping to the 4 m area, as depths rise quickly to 2 m over rocks. The approach carried only 1.3 m in places in 2021. In 2024 rocks and small yachts on moorings left few clear spots. Avoid the rocky patches and posidonia. Holding was good in 25 kn in 2021, but the mud and sand bottom did not hold in a strong westerly in 2022. The anchorage is sheltered from swell.

Practical

A Conad supermarket stands at the far end of the bay, a short dinghy ride away, and a DIY store is also within reach. Small makeshift pontoons take tenders, and a ring at the supermarket landing lets them be locked. A small boatyard stands beside the shops. In June 2026 speedboats passed close by day despite the speed limit. In August 2023 barking dogs and disco music carried across the water at night. Mosquitoes came out in the evening in June 2026.
