Approach and anchoring

Call on VHF 9 on arrival. At busy times calls may go unanswered, so stand off and wait until the marina boatmen come out and lead the way in. The channels between pontoons are narrow. Marina boatmen take the bow lines and push boats into the berth with their dinghies. They did so in force 5 in June 2026. Swell can enter the harbour.

Practical

About 80 berths, draught up to 6 m. Book ahead. Water and power on the pontoons, bins at the end of the pontoon. Toilets and showers were closed for renovation in June 2026. A supermarket and a chandlery are a short walk away in town. The marina area was a party venue in June 2026. La Maddalena lies within the Parco Nazionale dell'Arcipelago di La Maddalena, with the ferry to Palau close by.
