Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west through the Gulf of Saint-Florent, clear water close to the point. Sand holding, protection from E and SE winds. Exposed to the libeccio from the west and to swell from the north. Daylight approach; no dedicated lighting on the point.
Practical
No facilities on the shore. Saint-Florent harbour at 2.6 nm SW for fuel, water and provisions. Port privé Mare e Stagnu at 2.9 nm south.
Ashore
Start of the coastal path to the Plage du Loto and the Agriates desert beaches, reachable by dinghy or on foot across the scrub. The Cap Corse vineyards around Patrimonio, a 9 AOC, lie within 6 km by road from Saint-Florent.
