Approach and anchoring

Call VHF 9. A dredger partly blocked the entrance in July 2026. Transit berths are on the first pontoon to starboard on entering. Marina boatmen are on duty around the clock and assist berthing, including in a gale in April 2026. The quay opposite the harbour office is high for stepping ashore. In a Force 10 in May 2026, seas broke over the breakwater and coated boats in salt.

Practical

A berth cost 13 euros for a 38 ft boat in October 2025. The office is closed on Sundays, when the dock staff take arrivals. An early Monday departure meant paying by bank transfer in 2025. There was no wifi in July 2026. The washrooms were closed in June 2026, and their drains flooded in July 2026. A chandlery and a bar-restaurant are on the quay. The office is a 5-minute walk from the transit berths.

Ashore

A sandy beach lies next to the marina. The village is a 10-minute walk, with shops and the Doria ice-cream bar. Il Grillo Parlante serves carpaccio. The railway station is a 35-minute walk, with trains to other sights.
