Anchorage near the mole at Andora, on the Riviera di Ponente in Liguria, sand bottom, sheltered from north-west to north-east, exposed to the south.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor in 5 to 6 m on sand, which holds well, off the breakwater. Red buoys keep boats fairly far from the shore. A second sandy anchorage lies further west, in 5 to 6 m outside the buoys. The bay is open to southerly wind and swell.
Practical
Dinghies can be left at the marina near the harbour entrance, in front of its only bar. Turbonautica, a marine mechanic, handled an engine repair for a boat at anchor here in August 2024. A bar ashore played loud music and set off fireworks in late September 2025.
